Joni L. Jones
Associate Professor
Joni Jones is an associate professor in the Information Systems Decision Sciences Department. She teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in systems analysis and design and a PhD seminar covering the fundamentals of information systems research. She previously taught introductory courses in computing as well as courses in C#, managerial statistics, business system application and design, and software applications.
Her research interests include electronic commerce, pricing models for information goods, information and prediction markets, and the analysis and design of business systems. Her research has been published in the MIS Quarterly, Production and Operations Management, the Journal of E-Commerce, INFORMS Journal on Computing, Decision Support Systems and presented at national and international conferences.
Jones holds a BS in business administration from the University of Illinois, Chicago, and earned a PhD from the University of Florida. She joined USF in 2003, having previously taught at the University of Michigan, the University of Florida, and Santa Fe Community College. Her professional service includes roles as a reviewer for numerous academic journals. She is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma.

Current Research
Joni L. Jones is an Associate Professor of Information Systems and Decision Sciences at the University of South Florida. Her research interests include electronic commerce, information markets, and the analysis and design of business systems. Her research has been published in the Management Science, INFORMS Journal on Computing, Decision Support Systems and presented at national and international conferences. Dr. Jones holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Illinois, Chicago (1992) and received her Ph.D. from the University of Florida's Warrington College of Business in 2000.
