Samuel Bulmash
Associate Professor
Samuel Bulmash is an associate professor of finance who teaches upper-level undergraduate courses for finance majors, as well as a capital markets course for MBA students.
An expert in equity markets, inefficiencies in financial institutions, and stocks, Bulmash is an active researcher who has presented his work at more than 40 national and international academic conferences. His work has been published in journals such as Journal of Portfolio Management, Behavioral Finance, Socio-Economics and Managerial Finance, one paper in particular, “Implications of Banking Technology,” is among the most downloaded papers in the field, according to the Social Sciences Research Network.
He earned his PhD in finance from Northwestern University, Kellogg Graduate School of Management. He previously served as director of the Stockton College of New Jersey’s MBA program. Bulmash began his career at USF in 1985 and serves on several university-wide committees, including the Faculty Senate and Graduate Programs and Policy Committee. He also serves on the finance committee for the Tampa Jewish Federation.
