Karen Livingstone
Visiting Instructor
Karen Livingstone is a visiting instructor in the School of Accountancy. She teaches courses in accounting information systems and auditing.
Livingstone, who has taught accounting courses at Florida Atlantic University, received her bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree in accounting information systems from FAU. Livingstone is a certified public accountant, certified internal auditor, and certified information systems auditor. She has 15+ years experience in corporate governance, risk mitigation, and process improvement within the finance, operations, and information technology disciplines.
Livingstone most recently served as the chief audit executive for a fortune 500 public corporation in the aerospace industry. She has assisted numerous corporations in the technology, retail, utility, pharmaceutical, entertainment, financial services, healthcare, publishing/media, and public accounting industries. Livingstone began her career with Arthur Anderson, LLP’s Computer Risk Management practice.
