Bei Dong
Assistant Professor
Bei Dong is an Assistant Professor in the School of Accountancy. She teaches principles courses in the field, as well as courses in financial accounting and reporting and financial statement analysis.
Her areas of research interests include causes and consequences of alternative accounting choices, accounting regulation, voluntary disclosures, and capital markets.
Dong’s academic credentials include an undergraduate degree in finance from the Guanghua School of Management, Peking University, an MS in finance from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and a PhD in accounting from Michigan State University. She is a member of the American Accounting Association.
