College of Business Office of Employer Relations

We prepare our students for a career but make no mistake about it: searching for a job is hard work. But with the right tools, the search can be easier. The College of Business Office of Employer Relations – working in tandem with the USF Career Center – can help students explore careers and sharpen job hunting skills. We host a number of events and workshops to help students develop as professionals and host events to help students hone interviewing and networking skills. Most of these events are exclusively for business majors and are held in the College of Business. Business Communication Center

Student success is why our business programs emphasize writing skills, analytical decision making, and hands-on projects where students present their findings to their peers. Communication skills are just as important to a student's professional career and are key to advancing professional success. We understand the importance of communication skills and have dedicated a resource center for students who want to improve their written, oral, presentation and email communication skills. Bulls Business Network

Continually an innovator, the USF College of Business created a powerful learning and living environment designed solely for the success of our business students. The BBN provides incredible learning opportunities beyond classroom walls to high-achieving freshmen and sophomores, developing them professionally from their first moments on campus. BBN members can take advantage of special registration, advising opportunities and participate in events and activities designed to help build a small community within the larger USF community. In addition, unparalleled access to advisors, tutors as well as the dean, gives students an invaluable network early in their educational career.

Bulls Business Community

One of the benefits available to BBN members is the Bulls Business Community. This living-learning residence is led by College of Business staff and the resident assistants are business majors who can offer insight and advice like only someone who has “been there” can. One of the goals of the BBC is to help students develop as professionals from their very fist moments on campus and a myriad of career development programs are included in the program. Students participate in business improv programs, learn business dining etiquette, and enjoy corporate tours with fellow high-achieving business students.
